Our Story
HIGHPE. – Born from the Streets of Hindustan
In 2019, in the coastal town of Payyanur, three visionaries — Sahal, Riyas, and Shahaz — came together with a shared frustration and a powerful vision. Raised in Kannur, Kerala, they recognized a massive white space in the Indian streetwear market.
Street fashion was either overpriced, inaccessible, or disconnected from Indian identity. There was hype—but no representation of Hindustan.
They decided to build what was missing.
Three Founders. Three Stores. One Vision.
Before HIGHPE existed, Sahal, Riyas, and Shahaz were already entrepreneurs. Each of them independently ran their own clothing store and built individual customer bases in Kerala. They understood retail. They understood youth demand. They understood the market.
Over time, they began collaborating — sharing ideas, testing designs, understanding consumer behavior, and identifying what truly worked in the Indian streetwear segment.
Through those collaborations, one truth became clear:
Instead of building separately, they could build something bigger together.
That decision became the foundation of HIGHPE.
What started as three independent ventures merged into one unified brand vision — combining retail experience, creative direction, and business strategy into a single streetwear movement.
Origin from Kerala. Building from Bangalore. For Hindustan.
HIGHPE. carries its roots from Kerala — shaped by coastal culture, local hustle, and entrepreneurial mindset.
But to scale the vision nationally, the brand expanded its operational strength to Bangalore — India’s startup capital and cultural melting pot.
Kerala gave the roots.
Bangalore builds the future.
Global is the destination.
The Meaning of the “है”
The “है” in HIGHPE. stands for Hindustan — the origin and the identity.
The symbol reflects a brand built in the heart of India — not inspired by the West, but inspired by Indian streets, local markets, underground music, campus culture, and everyday hustle.
This is not trend-following.
This is culture-building.
